If you are reading this editor’s note, you already know something unique is happening. Electronics Sourcing North America (ESNA), a U.S.-based edition of the popular Electronics Sourcing magazines in Europe, is being launched in April.

This is significant for a number of reasons. First, while many trade publications are going online-only or closing their doors, ESNA is open for business. Second, ESNA is dedicated to a very specific audience electronics purchasing professionals which has traditionally been under served by the trade media. Finally, ESNA builds on the success of the Sourcing brands in Europe, published by the U.K.-based MMG Publishing group.
Five years ago, MMG launched Electronics Sourcing U.K. with the express purpose of serving purchasing professionals in the fast-paced electronics manufacturing industry. Building on ESUK’s momentum, MMG quickly launched Electronics Sourcing Europe and Electronics Assembly. More recently, MMG noticed that U.S.-based buyers were subscribing to and paying for ES’ European editions. ESNA is the response to the North American market’s need for a high quality, highly informative purchasing publication.
