Avnet Memec, the semiconductor distributor of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, is offering a full range of Cirrus Logics products in its portfolio. The completion of the product portfolio is the result of Avnet Memecs acquisition of Azzurris at the beginning of 2008. Before then, Cirrus Logic and Avnet Memec had already extended their distribution agreement into the UK, France and Italy. Avnet Memec is now distributing all Cirrus Logic products on a pan-European level. Cirrus Logics vice president of worldwide sales, Tim Turk, said: By leveraging with Avnet Memecs specialist approach to design creation we will be able to accelerate Cirrus Logics expanding profile of analog and mixed-signal IC products across Europe.
