Distributor gives start-ups an advantage

Arrow Electronics (UK) has launched a new channel dedicated to serving purchasers and design engineers in start-up organisations, developing companies and other small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A variety of services are offered by Arrow Advantage, including low volume ordering at competitive prices and ex-stock, forward and scheduled order options. Managed stock services and discounted contract pricing terms are also available, as are samples and engineering quantities. Customers can access over 240,000 on-board and off-board components and platform-level technologies from Arrows 168 franchised suppliers.

Sales director for Arrow Advantage, Mark Shearer, said: The electronics landscape in the UK is made up of a large number of geographically spread small-to-medium sized design houses and OEMs. Arrow Advantage provides a channel for these innovative SMEs by providing, at a local level, all of the products and services that they need as they move from research and development to final manufacture.
