Kingston debuts memory for Supermicro server boards

Fountain Valley, Calif. — Kingston Technology Company Inc. has launched a series of ValueRAM Server Premier memory solutions for server boards from Super Micro Computer, Inc. (Supermicro). The company also developed a special Web page to help customers find additional information and the right Kingston memory solutions for their Supermicro boards.

Kingston’s ValueRAM Server Premier is manufactured using a locked bill-of-materials (BOM) for customers who require the brand and revision of PCB and die to always remain the same from qualification through actual server deployment, said Kingston.

The memory devices have been independently certified by Advanced Validation Labs (AVL), a technology services company specializing in testing and validating pre- and post-production memory. AVL certification guarantees 100-percent memory compatibility with the Supermicro boards listed on the Web site, said Kingston.

These memory modules have a lifetime warranty and are backed by 24/7 technical support. Customers are notified in advance of impending BOM changes via a Product Change Notification (PCN) process.
