Irvine, Calif. — Area51-ESG and its authorized distribution division have become the exclusive North American distributor of HTC-Korea, a specialist in power management ICs, in a move to expand its reach in North America.
Area51-Authorized Distribution will distribute the IC maker’s complete line of voltage stabilizers, voltage regulators, converter/controllers, and signal conditioning products, targeted at consumer, computer and communication applications.
In the last decade HTC-Korea has built a reputation in the Asian market with the help of sales partners in China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and India, said Area51-ESG. The distributor attributes HTC-Korea’s success to its adherence to a strict quality policy, which is authenticated by ISO 9001 and ISO14001 standards, corporate ethics, as well as environmental responsibility. All of the company’s products are manufactured under the European Union’s RoHS directive.
“We are very excited to be named HTC-Korea’s exclusive North American distributor,” said Steve Stamatis, Area51-ESG’s senior director of sales, in a statement. “With great lead times and competitive prices, HTC can cross many other power management IC suppliers such as National, TI, and On Semi, but deliver product quickly, usually from our stock.”
“They also can provide custom and multi-chip integration solutions without NRE or mask charges. That is unprecedented,” Stamatis added.
