Wilmington, Mass. — Heilind Electronics now stocks Amphenol Industrial’s Helios H4 panel connectors for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The H4 Panel connectors use RADSOK technology and offer high current ratings and low contact resistance, resulting in lower power loss, said Heilind.
The H4 panel connector was developed to feed power from a solar panel into an inverter or combiner box, and features quick-snap mating for easy panel mount installation and termination to either box. They are compatible with standard industry connectors, including Amphenol’s Helios H4 line, for easy integration.
The H4 connector can be used with three different wire gauges: 14 AWG rated at 36 A, 12 AWG rated at 45 A, and 10 AWG rated at 52 A. The connector is RoHS compliant, UV and ozone resistant, and comes ready for field assembly. Complete cable assemblies are available.
