Dallas, Tex. — Mouser Electronics, Inc. has added 22 new suppliers in the first 18 weeks of 2011. The newest additions include manufacturers such as Maxim Integrated Products, Bias Power, Code Red Technologies and Ioxus, which have added 86,000 new orderable part numbers. Technologies range across all product categories including semiconductors, SSL solutions, low-power products and wireless products.
One significant new supplier addition is Code Red Technologies. Mouser is the first major distributor authorized to offer the company’s suite of development tools for ARM-based 32-bit microcontrollers from NXP and Texas Instruments to customers worldwide. Educational kits also are available.
Another recent noteworthy addition is Luminus Devices, a manufacturer of “Big-Chip” LEDs. The high-service distributor says the agreement speeds to market the industry’s only big-chip LED.
Currently, there are more than 1.9 million orderable part numbers available for online purchase at the Mouser website.
