Tantalum and ceramics manufacturing operations at Kemet have been certified to aerospace quality standard, AS9100. Registration is often a prerequisite for aerospace customers and the certificate will help reduce the need for customer audits. Kemets vice president of quality, Don Aldworth, said: Kemet is focused on product quality and customer service. These certifications demonstrate that we are putting our resources into areas of our operation that are important to our customers and will make doing business with Kemet easier for all customers serving the aerospace industry.
