The open order book, stock, fixed assets and goodwill of German company, PACvision, have been acquired by independent component supplier, Rebound Technology Group Holdings (RTGH). Existing operations, staff and all of PACvision’s European offices will be maintained under the deal, which confirms Rebound’s efforts to increase localised expertise and service.
PACvision will trade as an independent entity and operate from its four locations in Mnchengladbach, Ottobrunn/Munich, Ludwigsburg and Salzburg.
Rebounds CFO and newly appointed managing director of PACvision, Stephen Griffiths, said: This acquisition is in line with our strategy of working with customers on a localised level. Staff at PACvision have many years experience with a number of existing customer relationships. The groups initial focus will be to develop a strategic growth plan to enhance the services we offer to all customers.
Operating from its Newbury headquarters in the UK, independent component supplier Rebound offers global sourcing and supply services, from MRP and cost reduction programmes to shortage and excess management. The company also has test facilities in China to combat counterfeit components.
