Despite the economic downturn UK manufacturer and distributor of power supplies, Stontronics, is experiencing growth from areas such as CCTV and security and has had to move to a larger site. In the past year, annual turnover has expanded by 10 per cent and the company is employing more staff. Over three quarters of Stontronics customers are based in the UK, with major growth coming from the CCTV and security market, where Stontronics recently launched a range of IP-rated power supplies. Other growth markets include the LED lighting industry, point of sale equipment and electronics sub contractors.
Managing director at Stontronics, Paul Branston,said: Thanks to our new warehouse being more than double the size of our old facility we are able to increase our stock holding of standard off the shelf power supplies, which has contributed to our success.
