Integrating wireless technology into industrial or professional-grade products can now be achieved using Cirronets ZigBee-based modules from Digi-Key Corporation. The two companies have signed a distribution agreement covering Cirronets proprietary frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) products, which enable ZigBee technology to be incorporated with no RF design expertise.
As a result of the agreement, Digi-Key will distribute Cirronet FHSS modules and developer’s kits and will be the preferred source for smaller quantities of ZigBee modules. All the products will be featured in Digi-Keys printed and online catalogues.
