PEI-Genesis has extended its franchise agreement with Amphenol to cover the manufacturers MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II and III military circular connectors. This means Amphenols LJT, JT and TV connector ranges (plus the SJT variant) are all now available with the PEI-Genesis two-day assembly service. This represents a lead time cut of several weeks for this type of product. PEI-Genesis has achieved this by carrying large stocks of piece parts and using special in-house developed robotic assembly machines.
The company holds US Department of Defence QPL listing for assembling Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 connectors in the US and at PEI-Genesis European headquarters in Basingstoke.
Amphenols MIL-DTL-38999 connectors cover a broad spectrum of styles, sizes and platforms. The Series I and II connectors (LJT and JT respectively) feature aluminium shells, while the Series III connectors (TV) can be specified with aluminium, stainless-steel or composite shells. Available plating finishes include cadmium olive drab, nickel and zinc cobalt.
