In addition to stocking over 400,000 products featured in its print catalogue, Digi-Key is collaborating with many of its 400 supplier partners to provide the information required to make critical purchasing decisions.

Mark said: Our library of more than 420 product training modules is available in both audio and non-audio versions. From this single source, engineers can learn about the latest products and technologies, contact our technical support staff, download datasheets, check inventory and place an order for same-day shipment. These tools facilitate faster time to market and help make Digi-Key a one-stop shop.

Digi-Key made several changes in 2008 to facilitate ease of doing business. Sales and customer service representatives are now available around the clock, 365 days a year at Digi-Keys US headquarters. Technical support staff are available from 6pm Sunday through 6am CT Saturday. The qualifying amount for free shipping has also been reduced, with shipping free for orders of 50.

More than 99 per cent of orders entered before 8pm CT are shipped same day from Digi-Keys product distribution centre in Minnesota for delivery in the UK within one to three business days.
