Brushless DC Motors (BLDCs) versus Brush DC Motors is the central discussion point of the motor control seminar series being held by Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH. The one-day seminars take place between September and December in seven countries at 15 locations in cooperation with the manufacturers Microchip and Vishay. The target group consists of developers and technical buyers from the industrial, consumer and automotive segments. Topics such as the advantages of BLDCs, the replacement of a brush motor with a brushless one, offered solutions by the leading manufacturers Vishay and Microchip, hardware and software aspects when making the conversion and the distributors support for the design-in of new motors.
The goal for the participants is to get to know the technical capabilities of BLDCs and to be able to evaluate them with respect to their application. An overview of available design tools and ‘real-life demos’ will round off the content. The seminars will be held in the respective language of the country. The registration fee is 25 / 20.
