Research commissioned by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and software specialist, Oracle UK, has revealed that the quest for efficiency is driving change in both public and private sector procurement. The private sector scored highly by awarding board level status for procurement chiefs.
