Due to the enormous growth in wireless technology Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH has expanded its presence in the wireless sector. Silex Technology, a manufacturer in the field of Wireless local area networks, and the distributor signed a pan-European franchise agreement. Wireless LAN modules are to be the focus of the deal. Silex Technology offers inter alia programmable modules with Linux-based web server, wireless LAN Bridge modules and a series of standard modules for different standards and form factors.
In addition to its range of wireless LAN modules, Silex Technology is one of the largest suppliers of print, USB and serial servers. The company also develops and distributes biometric fingerprint modules.
