High reliability specialist, C-MAC MicroTechnology has had its design, manufacturing and test activities certified to AS9100 aerospace standard. All aspects of C-MACs aerospace business were reviewed in a week-long audit including manufacturing, design and development, risk management, customer relations and supply chain management as well as the companys overall quality management system (QMS).
This accreditation positions C-MAC as one of the few companies in the UK with AS9100 certification combining thick-film hybrid technology and PCBA technology. It also claims to be the only company in Europe certified to MIL-PRF-38534 Class H and K for military and space, ISO 13485 for medical and AS9100 for aerospace applications.
