Visitors to the show can also discuss ALRs Consignment Stock inventory control scheme, which can help customers optimise manufacturing efficiency and cash flow. This allows customers to order six months supply of PCBs, delivered as one shipment, with one one delivery charge. The customer then reports the number of boards used on a monthly basis, receiving an invoice for that amount only. This reduces unit cost, eliminates delays in production and keeps the amount of cash tied-up in stock to a minimum.
