Grab a new trigger enclosure

OKW has added two models to the Senso-Case series of hand controller enclosures. They feature an integrated push-button switch designed to ensure logical fatigue free operation for activation and logging functions. Typical applications will include measuring and control units, machine and robot controllers, stock and sales logging equipment, medical and laboratory technology and opto-electronics.

Senso-Case enclosures feature an ergonomic hand grip profile, large head section and are moulded in off-white or lava grey ABS (UL 94 HB). The external dimensions are 180 by 86 by 45mm. The design comprises four parts: top, base, battery compartment lid and end panel. Screw pillars are provided for mounting PCBs, keypads, cable clamps, etc. The new models feature a single pole push-button switch (28V/100mA max), assembly elements for the switch, plus an orange rubber button cover moulded in soft TPE.

The enclosures allow right and left-handed operation. They can be used as battery powered mobile units or connected via a cable. The battery compartment accepts two 1.5V AA or one 9V cell. Optional cable glands replace the standard end panel which, along with a cable clamp, accept control cables.

The head section accepts membrane keypads, LCD modules, rubber keypads or push-buttons. The front face accepts sensors and scanners. Prices start at 16.

Options include: holes for the push-buttons, connectors and displays; screen printed graphics; and EMC shielding.
