ODU has introduced thermal contact connectors claimed to provide up to 90 per cent space saving over conventional products. The contact can be supplied in nickel-chromium/nickel to connect to temperature probes, measuring leads and evaluation devices and can be fitted in the companys Mini-Snap circular connector housing with push-pull locking. Capable of connecting up to nine thermal elements in a single connector, the device is available with IP 68 protection and is housed in a robust metal casing. The push-pull locking system helps eliminate accidental disconnection and the devices can be used for more than 5000 mating cycles.
