Intensifying European PCB sales

All Flex Acquisitions has announced a sales partnership with Quicktronics, PCB design and sales house, starting in July 2009. By enforcing their European business activities All Flex marks
the consequential milestone of their marketing strategy after entering the European market exactly one year ago in July 2008. ‘In our first year we have accomplished great progress in public and customer awareness by marketing communications including four trade show appearances’, stated Dave Becker, All Flex Sales Manager. ‘Now it’s time to focus more on direct customer contact with the support of our new sales partner, Quicktronics.’

In an effort to grow European sales and foster the All Flex market presence throughout Europe, Quicktronics will handle all distribution and service obligations for Central Europe, the Benelux, Scandinavia, and South and Eastern Europe.

‘With our excellent European network, we are looking forward to supporting All Flex in all sales activities; completely in word and deed?, said Ferdinand Quick, CEO of Quicktronics. ‘This flexible circuit technology perfectly complements our wide variety of PCBs for industries such as automotive, computing, industrial, medical, telecommunications, and white goods.’ Quicktronics operates service and consulting units in Germany to support customers in applying new technological devices.

The All Flex product line includes flexible heaters and flexible circuits that are single sided, double sided, and multilayer. They also specialize in complex flex circuits including Maxi-Flex, (40 feet+), Sculptured Flex, and All Flex Power Flex (high current thick copper application). Materials types include Polyimide, Flame Retardant, and Polyester Flexible Circuits.

Flexible Heater Circuits are thin, lightweight and flexible substrates that can provide heat to selected areas of instrumentation, electronic systems, equipment, and a variety of other applications.

Typically The benefits of flexible printed circuit boards reach from the solution of system package size to multi-planar interconnection to thermal management. These conformable circuits allow for unrivaled design solutions which solve interconnection problems. The formability of a flexible circuit enables a package size reduction. In many cases installation and repair will be more practical and cost effective. In many applications production costs
are reduced as the flexible circuits can be tested before assembly.

The thickness of a flexible board can be as thin as 0.1 mm. In addition cost intensive connectors and solder joints can be eliminated. The system design will be simplified and size and weight of the application will be reduced.

Flex circuits dissipate heat at a better rate than other dielectric
materials while providing the added benefits of vastly improved flexibility.
