Representing a range of electromechanical component manufacturers, new distributor, Live Electronics, has selected its franchises on their ability to provide quality products at competitive prices. Initially the company has signed deals with Idec and Dailywell with negotiations under way to sign six other franchises. Claiming to be able to deliver the right products to the UK marketplace, at the right price, the new company is backed by a team in Asia, which can source hard-to-find products that complement the franchise offering.
Managing director, Claire Childs, said: We believe there is a clear need in the UK for an electromechanical component distributor that can provide technical support and customer service. Our portfolio is strong and growing, and products are manufactured in ISO 9000 certified facilities. Products sourced by our team in Hong Kong are only supplied from tried and trusted sources.
Headquartered in Japan, Idecs range includes miniature and sub-miniature control units, pushbuttons, pilot lights, key and selector switches and control relays, while Taiwanese company, Dailywell manufactures a range of switches including toggle, rocker, tact, rotary, slide, DIP and illuminated devices.
