Migrate legacy products from monochrome to full colour using Anders Electronics UMR-1 and UMR-3 series user machine relationship (UMR) intelligent colour display platforms. UMR platforms are said to offer a cost-effective way to enhance the usability of devices by migrating products to a full colour interface, while adding functionality. Features include optional GUI development tools and a run time engine, enabling a next generation user experience.
Based on a 200MHz ARM processor, the UMR 3 is designed for medium volume applications requiring limited animation capabilities. For higher volume applications, the UMR 1 offers a low-cost platform based around a 50MHz ARM processor, supporting bitmap graphics and configurable to specific applications.
Both platforms are available with pre-integrated options of a 2.8, 3.5 and 5.7in QVGA display or a 4.3in WQVGA TFT.
