Switch manufacturer, Lorlin Electronics, has widened its rotary switch offering with a new IP65 sealed version of the CK series. The device is also available in UL VO compliant fire retardant material, providing a solution for harsh and outdoor environments. Designed to offer a single wafer switch solution, for a range of applications the moulded body has a 27.5mm diameter with standard 30deg spindle indexing. Up to 4four poles are available per switch with a maximum of 12 positions and shorting or non shorting contact options. An adjustable stop is provided to restrict the number of positions in use. Other special order options include 60 or 90deg indexing, continuous spindle rotation and reinforcement ring and a fixed stop.
The CKS rotary switch family is rated at 150mA at 250V AC/DC with an expected life over 10,000 cycles. Operating temperature is -30 to 85C and its proof voltage is 1,500V AC.
Typical applications include portable equipment used outside such as marine or test and measurement equipment.
