Hi-rel connector company, ITT Interconnect Solutions, has developed a MIL-DTL 38999 compliant connector with 300 size 22D contacts. This is more than double the 128 size 22D contacts found in a standard Mil-DTL 38999 connector. The new KJA 300 series is designed to offer a space-saving solution for demanding environments where heat and vibration are encountered such as military communications systems, ground support networks, military combat vehicles, avionics and test equipment. Both cable and panel mount applications can be accommodated and all connectors feature EMI shielding, gold plated contacts, rear release crimp contacts and wire sealing grommets. Wall mount receptacle and plug shell styles are also standard.
