The new Fischer AluLite connector range has been designed to be around 50 per cent lighter than typical metal connectors.
Available in a range of colours, Fischer AluLite connectors can integrate with product designs, while also offering a colour-coding system. With the ability to withstand harsh conditions, the connectors are suitable for frequent connect / disconnect operations and the plugs and receptacles are engineered to endure more than 5,000 mating cycles within a temperature range of -50C to 150C. The natural anti-corrosion property of aluminium is additionally enhanced by a protective anodisation treatment.The AluLite series is available in multipole from two to 27 pins, with solder, PCB or crimp contacts and, upon request, in coax, triax or hybrid contact configurations.
