Thanks to a manufacturing agreement Aerco is now able to supply Hypertac’s HPD and HPF printed circuit board connectors with a typical lead time of two weeks. Aerco has been appointed as an authorised assembling distributor of the high-performance connectors, which is expected to improve availability in areas such as military and aerospace that rely on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components to drive down costs and time to market. In addition to short lead times Aerco will also offer technical support and after-sales service.
Hypertac sales director, Chris Parsonage, said: It is a serious challenge to supply these connectors in a range of variants in the time scale customers require for spares, repair contracts, rapid prototyping and quick turnaround JIT systems. With Aerco as an assembling distributor this problem will be solved, allowing us to serve users more effectively and make our HPD and HPF connectors available to a wider audience.
