Daa-Sheens SMB-family is now available at MSC Vertriebs. SMB connectors are semi-precision, sub miniature devices that provide repeatable electrical performance to 12 GHz. The connectors, which are designed for 50 Ohm systems, provide a means of quick-connect and disconnect through a snap-on type coupling. This feature in combination with smaller physical size make the SMB an ideal general purpose connector where packaging density, ease of mating/un mating and economy are prerequisites.
Crimp, clamp and receptacle types are available in right angle, printed circuit board and straight body styles.
Typical applications of the SMB connectors are telecommunications, test equipment, instrumentation and GPS.
