Southampton chosen as European headquarters

In response to continued rapid growth throughout its European operations, franchised assembling distributor PEI-Genesis has announced that it is moving to a 65,000 ft2 building in Eastleigh. This will serve as its new European headquarters and connector assembly facility.

Located adjacent to Southampton Airport, the building is more than three times larger than the companys existing premises and will provide enough space to accommodate the expansion of the business for many years to come.

PEI-Genesis European general manager, David Jones, said: The new building will allow us to continue the companys growth by investing in new assembly lines, new automation, a significantly expanded component inventory and additional services, all of which will be aimed at meeting, or hopefully exceeding, the needs of our customers both now and in the future.
