Rutronik and NEC Electronics have extended their distribution agreement to include the UK and Ireland. This will give buyers enhanced access to NEC Electronics’ portfolio of microcontrollers, TFTs, power mosfets, intelligent power devices, optocouplers, ASICs and small signal discretes. In the course of the partnership, Rutronik will promote its design-in activities with NEC Electronics products in the UK and Ireland, with emphasis on demand creation, supply chain initiatives and customer service.
Managing director sales and marketing at Rutronik, Thomas Rudel, said: One of our particular strengths is design-in. Together with NEC Electronics we aim to generate 50 per cent of our overall sales with design-in business. Increasing demand for complete solutions obtained from a single source accommodates our targets.
