Nicomatic UK can now provide tail extensions and interface cables manufactured to customer specifications for use with membrane switches, EL panels and touch screens. Samples are available on a fast turnaround and production quantities can often be supplied in seven to 10 days. Designed to mate with industry standard flexible circuit connectors such as Crimpflex, Clincher, Duflex and Molex, cables are available with a variety of termination styles such as male or female tabs suitable for soldering into the PCB. The flat flexible copper cables can be supplied in up to 36 ways, providing a flexible yet thin method of extending a membrane or touch panel tail without the costs associated with manufacturing a panel with an extra long tail.
