RF Solutions has expanded its AM receiver portfolio with the new AM-HRR30 super-regen module, a hybrid construction device measuring 25.4 by 8.9 by 4mm. Combined with robust construction, this makes it ideal for portable devices and other small form factor equipment. The AM-HRR30 is able to capture undecoded data from any AM transmitter with a receiving range of up to 50m and a data rate up to 4,800bits/sec. Buyers can specify operating frequencies between 300 and 450MHz and standard parts are available with frequencies of either 315 or 433MHz.
Supply current is 3mA maximum and for applications where low power consumption is paramount, RF Solutions offers the AM-HRR60 which draws a supply current of 0.5mA.
Operating temperature range is -25 to 80C with durable construction for stability in applications subject to mechanical vibration and manual handling. Purchasers wont need to specify adjustable components due to the laser trimmed on-board inductor and the device requires no radio licence to operate.
