Avnet Inc. has expanded its line card thanks to two new distribution agreements with Energy Micro and Micross Components and the availability of two new power management ICs (PMICs) from Texas Instruments Inc.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia has signed a contract for distribution of Energy Micro’s ultra-low-power EFM32 Gecko microcontroller, extending their pan-European and pan-American agreements. Avnet now represents Energy Micro in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas inked a distribution agreement with Micross Components (formerly Austin Semiconductor) that allows the distributor to sell the company’s entire line of QML-certified (qualified manufacturers list) and ISO 9001/AS9100 registered semiconductor products to the military, aerospace, transportation, industrial, embedded and medical markets in North America.
Avnet Express announced the availability of TI’s latest PMICs — the TPS82671 and TPS84620. These products are in-stock and available for same-day shipping when ordered on www.avnetexpress.com by 8 p.m. CST.
