Ideal for motorsport and military applications, Lemo’s M series connector is one of the lightest Lemo connectors available

The company’s high-quality push-pull connectors are found in a variety of application environments, including medical, industrial control, test and measurement, audio-video and telecommunications.
In addition to the well distributed Lemo B and K series connectors, a new product, the M series, was introduced recently for motorsport and military applications. Since 2011, the M series has been available in many different sizes, ranging from size 0M to 5M. Made of high strength aluminium, this is one of the lightest and most compact Lemo connectors.
A ratchet-screw mechanism enables quick and secure coupling of the connectors. This mechanism makes it easier to tighten the plug in the socket than to untighten it, thereby ensuring a firm connection.
Two shell designs are available for this connector: knurled outer shell or arctic grip, which makes it easy to manipulate the connector when wearing gloves, or when the connector is in a difficult-to-access area. The connector is environmentally sealed with ingress protection to IP68 and a sealing gasket made of Viton fluororubber ensures resistance against hydrocarbons. The series is produced in various sizes, with a nominal diameter of 13 to 34mm and offers a high-density pin count with up to 114 contacts.
All M series connectors are identified with a laser-engraved part number and a production batch number. This allows Lemo to achieve complete traceability during product manufacture, from raw material to finished shipped goods.
