Lusso, one of the UK’s leading independent luxury magazines, has just released an app that supports the retina display of the new iPad, out this Friday 16th March, which is the new tablet’s most eagerly-awaited feature and is the sharpest, most vibrant, highest-resolution screen of any smart phone or tablet ever produced.
The latest edition of Lusso, which has been built especially for the iPad retina display, is available to download free of charge from today and is one of the few apps that will allow iPad users to take full advantage of the excellent image quality of the new screen.
Even Apple.com has been updated to take advantage of the exquisite new display and the increased clarity of the retina screen, which is incredibly sharp and detailed, cutting down on the need to zoom to see finer print and it also has 44% great colour saturation than previously.
These are very valuable features for readers of Lusso – winner of the PPA’s 2008 award for ‘Best Online Presence’ – as the magazine is renowned for its excellent and innovative photography, creative artwork and stunning images, which will be really brought to life by the iPad’s new display screen.
In addition to supporting the retina display, the new Lusso app contains the following features, which will allow readers to:
- Share content and comments with their friends using Facebook, Twitter and iMessage
- View iPad exclusive high definition images and videos
- Search the entire issue for keywords and phrases
- Explore travel destinations with Google maps integration
