LCD manufacturer, Optrex America, has introduced three super high bright TFT LCDs, including a new 19in diagonal panel, said to offer 1,500cd/m² brightness, low power consumption, wide operating temperature range and white LED backlights with 100K hour lifetimes.
The displays are ideal for outdoor environments, including direct sunlight and other high-ambient-light environments, such as a brightly lit factory floor, where the display has to be readable over a wide temperature range.
With its 1,280 by 1,024 resolution, the new 19in diagonal super high bright TFT LCD features 1,500cd/m² brightness, 33.2W power consumption, a contrast ratio of 800:1 and wide viewing angles. Operating temperature range is -20 to 70° C.
Other options include the 12.1in diagonal model featuring 1,280 by 800 resolution, power consumption of 13.1W, a 700:1 contrast ratio and an operating temperature range of -30 to 80°C. Also the 9.0in diagonal model, featuring 800 by 480 pixel resolution, power consumption of 6.4W, an operating temperature range of -30 to 80°C and an 800:1 contrast ratio.
