Provertha provides Industrial Ethernet M12 rear panel feed-thru for simple field assembly

Expanding its comprehensive I-Net product family, Provertha developed a new IP67 M12 panel feed- thru with crimp termination for Industrial Ethernet ensuring a fast and reliable field bus connection with freely selectable cable length.

The new I-Net IP67 M12 panel feed-thru crimp female version with D-coded 4-contact insulator body and turned crimp contacts provides a fast and fail-safe Industrial Ethernet single wire connection as well as a hassle-free contact assembly by simple insertion of contacts locking securely. The innovative design offers a very compact form factor useful especially in restricted assembly conditions. An ergonomic and optically attractive grip shell ensures a secure grip during fastening or loosing on the panel wall.

The high-quality full-metal housing as well as a crimp flange system care for an effective 360° EMI/RFI shielding for trouble-free data transfer. Moreover, the waterproof housing design offers protection level IP67.

The full-metal housing also ensures high robustness against damage in rough environments. Additionally, the 360° EMI/RFI crimp flange system with hexagonal crimp of the outer shell provides a vibration- and torsion-resistant strain relief for the cable in rough industrial environments.

Panel assembly with exact coding position in the flange hole is enabled by two mounting flats in the sides of the thread bolt or by the housing’s 19 wrench size contour.

Fixing to the panel wall is by a M16x1.5 hex nut. The new panel feed-thru accepts wall thicknesses up to 4 mm.

Available are gold plated crimp contacts for wire sizes AWG 22 and 0.5mm2 and corresponding mounting tools.

Besides the standard version for 6.5mm cables, Provertha offers additional versions e.g. for railway systems with 6.6 mm, 7.3 mm and 8.3 mm outer diameter.
