Cognition is delighted to announce the publication of the advance programme for the 11th ‘Components for Military and Space Electronics’ Europe event. This conference and exhibition will be held in Portsmouth, in the Langstone Hotel and will take place from the 25th to 27th June 2012. There will be options for a one day workshop and one day seminar on the first day followed by a two day conference with a dedicated exhibition. There will be an in depth workshop day which consists of a ‘Components Engineering’ Seminar and a ‘Counterfeit Components Avoidance’ Workshop as well as a variety of industry experts giving presentations over the course of the two day conference.
During the two day conference there will be presentations from companies such as Rolls Royce, Kemet, Synopsys, NPL, Microsemi, AVX, Linear Technology, Cypress Semiconductor, Micross Components, e2v, Serma Technologies. Both the seminar and workshop will be very informative as the seminar will be highlighting the current challenges facing the component engineer, and the workshop will be addressing new and advanced practices for detecting and preventing the delivery of counterfeit components.
“This year’s event is even better value than the previous one. There is not only a very strong programme of speakers, which we believe will be very informative and interesting to attendees, but there is an excellent technical workshop day and an exhibition to attend,” comments Ian Blackman, Director of Cognition. “This conference also aims to highlight the latest industry topics such as obsolescence management, tin whiskers, and radiation effects on modern semiconductors.”
The cost to attend this three day event is £695 +VAT. This includes refreshments, meals, and presentation notes and a networking dinner on the second evening. Alternatively, it is £325 +VAT for the one day workshop. Early booking discounts are available if bookings and payment take place before the 11th May 2012.
