Jacarem has marked its 25th anniversary in style, reporting its most successful year to date.
The Connector distributor and Cable Assembly manufacturer has reported an 18% increase in turnover over the previous financial year, demonstrating its strength during these difficult economic times.
Launched in 1987, Jacarem was established by Terry Reeve as a specialist connector distributor. The Cable Assembly division slowly evolved when Terry realised that customers had cabling requirements that couldn’t be fulfilled. Twenty five years on, the Cable Assembly team has grown from strength to strength and now makes up 50% of the business.
The last 5 years have been very important in the growth of Jacarem as they have added some prestigious new Connector partners including ERNI, Souriau and Conec. In addition to this, Jacarem have expanded their portfolio and now distribute Electro Mechanical products for EBM Papst, Schurter and Sonitron. These additional E-mech lines are not only a natural expansion to our existing connector range, they now put Jacarem in a position where they can offer solutions to virtually every electronics industry and application.
