WECO, a manufacturer of standard and custom terminal blocks, has named Bill Ligris as North American Sales Operations Manager and Canadian Sales Manager. In addition to 18 years of sales and business development experience, Bill previously held a regional sales manager position with WECO. In this new role, Bill will assist with implementing new strategies to extend WECO’s North America market reach and enhance the quality of relationships at all levels of the sales channel. His responsibilities will also include corporate sales operations, training and engineering relations.
“Bill’s knowledge of WECO’s products, the interconnect industry, its customers and markets will be valuable as the company focuses on strategic goals that include strengthening WECO’s North American market position,” said Bernard Pinet, general manager at WECO. “Bill’s significant interconnect industry experience; his strong knowledge of distribution, combined with his ability to work with sales representative agencies will benefit the expansion of our markets.”

Bill Ligris has held sales and business development management positions at WECO and Future Electronics. His experience extends to consulting for various electronic manufacturers where he applied advanced understanding of technical sales, product and sales training to create and implement direct sales strategies, and strategic business development within the US and Canada.
