TTI, Inc. has been recognized as an honoree in the 2011 Total Cost of Ownership (TCOO™) Supplier Awards program by Celestica, a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product life cycle solutions. Celestica’s award program recognizes suppliers that support Celestica’s TCOO sourcing strategy to provide its customers with the best possible supply chain solution for their products.
“TTI is proud to be recognized by Celestica for the second year in a row,” said Don Freeman, Vice President, Global Strategic Sales. “The Celestica TCOO Supplier Awards program is unique in the EMS market segment as it rewards those suppliers that provide a total cost of acquisition advantage. Celestica is also unique in the way they recognize the suppliers that perform to the highest levels in its TCOO Supplier Awards program.”
David Yeo, Celestica Senior Director, Global Commodity Management, commented on the award, “TTI has consistently maintained excellent service levels across all geographies. Their keen participation in our supply chain initiatives has resulted in better supply assurance and enhanced flexibility to meet our customers’ requirements. TTI has scored well in quality performance too. This is not a small accomplishment considering the high parts count and the high number of low dollar shipments they made in 2011. My congratulations to TTI for winning the honoree award.”
This marks the sixth year of Celestica’s TCOO Supplier Awards program, which evaluates and recognizes the top performers in Celestica’s global network of over 3,000 suppliers. Celestica’s TCOO system is focused on evaluating supplier performance by measuring the total cost to produce, deliver and support products and services beyond the supplier invoice price. As such, it considers the following supplier attributes: quality, delivery, technology, service, pricing and flexibility.
