CONEC, a manufacturer of high-quality connectors, has developed a series of IP67-rated combination D-subminiature connectors that deliver high reliability in rugged environments. Available in the latest one-piece “solid body” frame design, these IP67-rated combination D-sub connectors are supplied pre-populated with signal, high power or coaxial contacts. Available in standard combination pin configurations, the IP67-rated combination D-sub connectors are designed to provide a single-connector solution for harsh environment applications requiring a combination of power, signal and coaxial connections. CONEC uses only high quality, gold-plated machined contacts to make the best interface possible.
The IP67-rated combination D-sub connectors feature a die-cast metal frame and O-ring to seal the connector to the panel. The D-sub connectors are designed to interface directly with MIL-C-24308 connector standards. All plastic materials comply with UL94V-0 standards.
“These water-resistant and dust-proof IP67 combination D-subminiature connectors ensure a continuously secure connection and afford our customers a convenient and practical solution for devices that experience harsh environmental factors,” said Peter Persico, Technical Support Specialist at CONEC. “Our ability to create custom options that satisfy virtually any mix of coaxial, power or signal needs within a single connector enables customers to develop new and innovate designs.”
Available with 4-40 UNC or M3 threaded inserts, the IP67 combination D-subminiature connectors feature power rating ranges from 10A to 20A with a temperature range of -40ºC to +105ºC. The combination D-subminiature connector is both RoHS and REACH compliant. For cost considerations gold plating options are available along with a variety of accessories such as waterproof hoods and sealing caps.
The combination D-subminiature connectors are available in a variety of configurations from shell size 1 through 5, starting at $8.00 in OEM quantities, with a lead-time of stock to four weeks.
