Thanks to its mix of frequency, passive and power products, Jauch has managed to continue its growth plans for UK operations, despite a difficult 12 months. In fact, the company is on track to grow UK business by 20 per cent in 2012.
Frequency controlled products manufactured by the Jauch group are available in the UK from Jauch Quartz UK. This however, is not the company’s sole remit, and it also operates a components division, which is the UK sales office for Chinese capacitor manufacturer, Nantong Jianghai. Described as one of China’s largest manufacture of electrolytic capacitors, its range comprises radial, snap in, screw terminal, polymer products, with the recent addition of a film capacitor factory.
Regular visits to colleagues in China provides updates and reviews of current business projects, which maintains a close relationship with Jianghai. The resulting components are shipped to many of the UK’s top power companies, with the main applications being SMPS, UPS, inverters and lighting.
NIC Components is another strong line with a range of passive components including inductors and power inductors, polymer caps, precision resistors and super caps.
From the Jauch group, there is also a battery division operating from Germany, but supported in the UK with a range of primary and secondary batteries including NiMH, Alkaline, LiPo and Lithium-Thionyl chloride. Battery packs are a major focus, marketed and supported from the UK office.
To support this line up, all sales employees maintain product knowledge, with specialists for each commodity to assist at design in. Ex-Varta employees handle the battery division, ex-Kemet/BHX employees manage the Jianghai electrolytics and ex-Arrow and Murata employees support the NIC passives. Employees working on the Jauch Frequency range boast 15 to 20 years plus experience, which ensures optimum support from engineering through to sales and after sales support.
