For the first time, Electronica will be holding an embedded platforms conference, running 14 and 15 November. Together with the exhibition, which takes place 13 to 16 November, and the forum, it is part of the show’s three-pronged approach to this key topic.
Developing a successful product, whether it’s smartphones or industrial control systems, depends on selecting the right embedded modules, such as the processor platform, operating system, drivers and networking technology. It is also essential that the individual components interact correctly and that they are adapted to suit the specific application.
Exhibition director, Nicole Schmitt, explained: “The conference is our way of addressing this challenge for embedded system engineers, who can come here to gather specific information about selecting a platform that is right for them.”
