Electronics manufacturing company, Custom Interconnect (CIL), has been awarded ISO 13485 medical device approval for its production facilities in Andover, Hampshire.
Both of the company’s manufacturing sites have been approved for the manufacture of medical devices under the quality assurance scheme. During the three day assessment, CIL demonstrated its capability to provide a complete manufacturing service for medical sector clients.
This, combined with CIL’s clean room manufacturing capability, is ideal for the assembly of electronics under controlled conditions, such as sensor and optical devices predominantly used in the medical and high reliability sectors.
