Digi-Key has signed a global distribution agreement with provider of MEMS inertial sensors, Kionix. Products in the Kionix range include three-axis accelerometers and gyroscopes, as well as six-axis combination products, suitable for the consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, and healthcare markets. Kionix also offers embedded algorithms and software, such as sensor fusion, which provides added value to end applications.
The company’s new XAC sense element boasts high stability, shock and temperature performance. Kionix accelerometers have been used in various consumer products such as the Xbox Kinect, Samsung Galaxy tablets and Motorola Droid mobile phones. They are also popular in automotive and health and fitness industries.
