Avnet Embedded, a business group of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, a business region of Avnet, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of Panasonic wireless modules to its portfolio. Customers across Europe will benefit from this latest extension, with a comprehensive range of products, from devices for tight integration into host systems to host independent devices ideal for sensor and low energy applications. Different Bluetooth stacks are available as are M-Bus, Mesh and ANT supported devices.
Panasonic Wireless modules include a compelling range of 2.4 GHz single mode modules spanning Classic Bluetooth (2.1EDR and 3) and Bluetooth 4.0 (Low energy/Bluetooth SMART) as well as Dual Mode (Smart Ready) modules with Bluetooth Low energy (Bluetooth SMART) and Classic Bluetooth. Additionally, classic Bluetooth and ANT modules are available.

Within the range of products, a number of standard form factors exist and customers also have the opportunity to utilise the shared form factors to create differentiated products from one base design. Additionally, Host Controller Interface (HCI) variants are available so hardware cost savings can be made when paired to suitable base board processors. Customers can choose from different firmware options and software stacks.
In the Sub GHz ISM market, customers can choose from a range of transceiver modules, MESH and Wireless M-Bus modules, and this range further extends into the 2.4GHz frequency range.
