TTI receives ECIA marketing awards

TTI, Inc., globally recognized distributor of interconnect, passive, electromechanical and discrete components has received industry accolades from the Electronics Components Industry Association (ECIA) and UBM Electronics. The industry marketing awards were presented at the annual ECIA Electronic Components national conference in Chicago, IL.

ECIA established the awards program to acknowledge creative branding and marketing efforts by honoring ECIA members who display exceptional marketing programs for the previous year. As testament to its high-caliber marketing program TTI received an award for Best Social Media Outreach for its Christmas Puzzle Contest entry. The cleverly designed campaign used TTI’s Specialist spokesperson to deliver a competitive holiday puzzle game to customers, suppliers and employees, introducing an element of fun and engagement. TTI also took the prize in the Best Special Web Promotion category and won for its adaptive version of the TTI Android and Apple Apps. The program extends browsing and buying functions of the TTI website to Apple iOs and Android devices.

TTI’s Littelfuse QuickCast training video, submitted in the Best Customer Engagement/Training Event, received an Honorable Mention. The 30-minute pre-recorded QuickCast introduces surge protection solutions offered by TTI and Littelfuse. TTI made an impressive showing as a finalist in six of the 12 categories in the competition.
ECIA annually honors members of the organization who have devoted their time and resources to advance the association and the industry. This year, one of ECIA’s Distinguished Service Awards was presented to Melanie Pizzey, TTI Vice President, Global Product Operations. Pizzey joins an elite group of individuals who have received the association’s Distinguished Service Award for the second time. She previously won this honor in 2004.

Michael Knight, Senior Vice President, TTI Americas, said, “TTI is honored to be acknowledged by ECIA for our marketing efforts this past year. TTI continues to strive to be on the cutting edge of innovation in its marketing programs and this recognition encourages us to continue on this path to engage with our supplier and customers in new and creative ways. This recognition is extremely gratifying for our marketing and Web teams and everyone involved in the creative process at TTI.”
