The now at MSC available connector series LEA, LEL, LEB, SFH by JST is especially suitable for LED applications on boards with small space.
Despite their miniature design, these connectors offer a current load of up to 4A (AWG 22/Series SFH). The connectors are available as wire-to-board and board-to-board. The LEB series can be used as both and can therefore be set in excellent combinations. The connectors are used in a wide range of LED applications.
Unevenness in the circuit boards are compensated by thermal expansion (series LEB / LEL) and a reliable locking mechanism prevents accidental release or an incomplete connection of the system (LEA Series).
In the series LEL (Wire to Wire) gold plated contacts provide extra long life of LED lighting technology. The LED connectors have a pitch from 1.8 to 4 mm, and a structure height between 1.2 and 3 mm.
