APEM Components, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high quality Man-Machine Interfaces, introduces its “I Series” sealed panel mounted pushbutton switches. The pushbutton series’ offers both 12mm and 16mm diameter bushings with round and square actuators, featuring both Latching and Momentary switch functions.
IC SERIES:
The IC pushbutton series includes; Snap-action mechanism: audible tactile feedback, high voltage rating, Matching the “I” range design, diameter 12 mm bushing, round actuator, light plastic case, two bezel diameters (standard 17 mm, reduced 15 mm), and sealed to IP67, and mechanical lifetime of 1 million cycles.
With its strong and audible tactile feedback, the IC series complements and extends the “I” range of sealed pushbutton switches. It is ideal for harsh, noisy environments, including those involving vibrations, where the use of a sealed switch is imperative. Optionally available with a reduced bezel, the IC series fits into the tightest spaces. The switches are excellent for agriculture, military vehicles, and crane remote controls markets.
IM SERIES:
The IM pushbutton series includes; Snap-action mechanism: audible tactile feedback, high voltage rating, Matching the “I” range design, diameter 12 mm bushing, round actuator, light plastic case, two bezel diameters (standard 17 mm, reduced 15 mm), and sealed to IP67, and mechanical lifetime of 1 million cycles.
IQ SERIES:
The IQ pushbutton series offers; a range 16mm bushing with Snap-in mounting for easier and faster installation. The IQ includes five options including screw terminals with both Momentary and Latching versions. The pushbutton switches features both an illuminated and non-illuminated, square/round actuator, and gold plated contact option.
IL Series:
The IL pushbutton series includes a long bushing at 12mm diameter panel cutout with a momentary switching function. The IL pushbutton can be used with a Panel thickness: 1.50 mm (.059inch) min. to 10 mm (.393inch) max. The series offers a flat actuator for optional markings. The IL is offered with termination options: Flying leads, Solder Lugs, and PC Pins.
IHL and IHS Series: 
This pushbutton switch features a 12mm diameter bushing with a low behind-panel depth. APEM’s IH series offers one of a kind Hall Effect sensor technology for a long lifecycle.
APEM has created to version of the IH series: the IHL and the IHS. Both the IHL and IHS offer a long life contactless switching of 5 million operations. It is sealed to IP67. The dome shaped actuator is available in eight colors.
The IHS Series is a ruggedized switch in harsh environments. The IHS is recommended for applications where the switch is often activated. For example, in applications where positioning the load is critical: material handling, loaders, lifts, trucks, buckets and shovels. The IHL series is used in applications where a simple On /Off control is not sufficient and where a linear output is preferable. Typical use of IHL: applications where operators need to control motion and speed. This switch is ideal for control valves or variable speed drives and can be used in various applications including industrial controls, heavy duty equipment and handling.
